Corbin's Baptism...

Corbin was baptized on October 13, 2012.  It was such a great day.  Corbin has been looking forward to this all year long!  When he found out we would be out of town in September when he was suppose to be baptized, he was a little disappointed but we had a fun vacation in Bear Lake and he decided it would be okay to wait till October.

There were quite a few kids that were baptized in our stake, 3 from our ward.  The stake put on a quick program and then dismissed the wards one at a time.  Corbin was second to get baptized in our ward.  Lucky there was a mirror that is angled down to the font because Cameron stood in front with his back to the crowd and it completely blocked our view of Corbin.   I asked Cameron why he didn't stand facing us and he didn't even think about it. I think he was kind of nervous.  They had to do it twice because Corbin's knee came up.  He had a huge grin when it was all over.  He was a little nervous before because he didn't want to be dropped.  I kept assuring him that Dad will never drop you.

The spirit was definitely there and I know that our Heavenly Father had a huge smile on his face.  Cameron did a great job on the confirmation from what I could hear...  They put all 3 families in the same room and it was noisy, hot and no microphone.  Lucky the spirit doesn't only reside in perfect places.

Afterwards, we had a baked potato bar at Grandma Cathy's and Grandpa Bob's.  It was so nice and went so smoothly.  My mom has the perfect house for partys since everything is so open.  The house was decorated very cute with all her fall stuff and of course everything was sparkling clean.  It was a huge relief for me to not have to worry about cleaning our own house!

I love this guy to pieces.  He has such a tender heart and is so handsome.  I love his big brown eyes.  He is usually first to want to help and the first to forgive.  He also is very stubborn and can push your buttons pretty quick!  The apple doesn't fall to far from the tree.  :)  He is a math wiz.  He will try almost anything once.  The thing I love the most is that he and Conner are good buddies.

We had a mini photo shoot with McKenzie for Corbin in his new suit!  They turned out great.  He is such a handsome guy!

Cameron typed up what he remembered saying for Corbins confirmation....
