Pioneer Day

Our Pioneer Day started out at Pineview Dam! How fun! Having been to Bear Lake and 2 weeks of swim lessons the kids have warmed right up to the water. They loved to play on the beach and run into the water. Grandpa Bob had the boat and we all loved being pulled. The kiddies even dared ride on the new toy. It is a huge tube that fits 3 people. They all loved it. I rode the knee board and I am paying the price today, I need to start working out more, chasing kids is not cutting it anymore. Everyone forgot their cameras except Cindy so hopefully I will be able to post some pics soon. We went to grandma Cathy and Grandpa Bobs for a BBQ and fireworks that evening. What is not to love about that. Good food, family and fireworks. Bob and Cameron put on a wonderful firework show for us.
I am so thankful for my pioneer heritage and the amazing sacrifices they made so that we can be in this wonderful valley with the many blessings we enjoy. What a wonderful life!!!

When it rains....it pours!

So Wednesday I went to the Dr's for a stupid cough that wouldn't leave and I felt one of my stupid neck aches coming on... By Thursday morning after work I could barely move my head and it went down hill from there. This was the worst neck ache I have ever had in my life. It ranked worse then child birth or anything else I have experienced. Cameron was wonderful and came home early on Thursday and took Friday off to take care of all of us. Friday afternoon after swimming lessons, Cassidy started crying about a headache and stomach ache. We thought maybe she had to much sun and gave her some Motrin. Saturday I got a blessing from Cameron and our wonderful neighbor Brian. I love that I have such a great husband and wonderful neighbors that can help when needed.

Cassidy was still sick on Saturday and started throwing up. Hooray! Like it couldn't get any better... Sunday still wasn't any better so Cameron ran her to our pediatrician and after having every test run that they could think of they chalked it up to a stomach virus and admitted her to the Pediatric floor to be rehydrated and some zofran. Cassidy perked right up and appears to be feeling much better so far. Thank goodness. I almost have full range of motion, at least I can look down and I can look side to side almost like a normal person. Hopefully our excitement is done for awhile!!!

Conner

My little baby is not so little anymore!! Conner is turning 3!! I can't believe it, life is going by so quick. Conner is such a special part of our family. He keeps us entertained and in line.

Things I love about Conner:
He is always in motion!
How he can keep up with the bigger kids.
His cheeks.
He calls everyone his friend!
He always wants mom, especially after I work.
The way he says "WHAT?"
The way he points his finger when he is setting us straight.
His non-stop energy!
Those big brown eyes!

We love you Conner. I hope you have a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
