Thanksgiving Point

Ethan, Wyatt, Cassidy, Conner and Corbin.

Pony rides, can you tell they love it?!?!?!

Cassidy is trying to block the cow because it kept trying to eat her skirt!

Making butter!

Friday we planned an adventure with Nicole and her boys. We went to Thanksgiving Point. It was fun. We had never been there before. It was Dairy days sponsered by Meadow Gold. The kids had fun mixing their own butter and ice cream, eating ice cream sandwiches and sampling chocolate milk. We also went on a hay ride and the kids had a pony ride, I think that was the highlight of the day. We also had a lovely lunch and went to one of the 3D movies. We saw the whale and dolphin one. It was pretty neat. We have never seen a 3-D movie before. Ethan and Cassidy had fun reaching out trying to touch the whales and dolphins.

We have such fun cousins!!! Thanks Nicole for a fun filled day!

FYI-Meadow gold sampled their Over the Moon Fat-free Chocolate Milk and it was delicious. You would never guess it was fat-free!

Conner's Milestone

Our family has had some big milestones the last couple of weeks with Cassidy losing teeth and Corbin teaching himself to ride without training wheels so Conner felt he needed to do something as well to keep up with the big kids. He finally is starting to go potty in the toilet. HOORAY!! I felt like this day might never come. His first time ever going in the potty was just on Sunday (6/7/09). The kid is practically 3 years old. I have to remind myself that every kid is so different!! He has gone at least a couple times a day since then. Obviously no where near potty trained, but at least we are on the right track.

All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth....

Cassidy's two front teeth have been loose forever and she wouldn't let Cameron pull them out. Finally a couple weeks ago, she conceded to letting him. Friday night the first one came out and Saturday the next one came out. She is such the drama queen, when the second one came out there was a bit of a pop and it probobly scared her more then anything because she was hysterical. Luckily the tooth fairy came and made it all better. (The money was for both teeth, and I was told that was all she had in her purse!)
Cassidy's teeth were loose for so long that her 2 permanent teeth are already starting to pop through. I guess she won't be toothless for to long!

No more training wheels

Last week I walked outside to herd all the kids in and Corbin comes riding up from the park on his buddys bike that has no training wheels!! I must of looked shocked because he just started laughing and kept going. His bike has training wheels so needless to say we went straight home and took his off. He thinks he is so tricky!!
