We then headed over to the kids carnival. They had a excellent turnout from the community. It was fun to see everyone but made it a little to crowded so we didn't stay to long. Part of the deal for the kids of leaving the carnival early was that we could go out to lunch so we headed to El Matador and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Even the twins were good!!
Then it was off to home to re-group and have some much needed naps. Then me and the big kids went to the concert. It was John Schmidt. He was very entertaining to watch. You couldn't help but walk away feeling like you needed to practice the piano more. Hopefully the kids will keep that feeling. Corbin and Cassidys piano teacher was part of the opening group that played, the Cox Family Fiddlers! They were great. I have never met such a musically talented family. The kids were so excited to see her on the stage and be able to say that she was THEIR piano teacher!
It was a great day! I loved that it was overcast and we didn't all die of heat and sunburn! Wish I was better at remembering to take pictures of everything...oh well, maybe next time.
