Kids say the craziest things....

So yesterday when Conner got out of the tub I wrapped him in his hooded frog towel and he started jumping around saying, "Rabbit, Rabbit..." I chimed in and started saying "Ribbit, Ribbit" hoping it would click. He turned around and said "No, Mom." and what sounded exactly like the F-bomb. Of course my jaw it the floor and I said "What did you say" He said it again and we kept repeating ourselves about four more times. Conner was totally irritated I wasn't getting what he was saying and he grabbed his towel and said what was suppose to be frog but still sounded like the f-bomb, at least I know I'm not raising a potty mouth.

Then this might be TMI so feel free to skip....

Corbin walked in when I was getting in the shower and said, "Mom, why are you all bumpy?" I'm not sure if he was referring to the fat rolls or the cellulite so I just said, "Mom is not in shape." He followed up with, "You need to get in shape." Lucky I love that kid because I might of hit anyone else who said that. We quickly had a talk about exercise, taking care of our bodies and privacy.

And yes I am going to start exercising.

Oh Chris, I love you and your kids! What a funny post, you have to record things like this so you can always remember them! Oh what sweet little boys, good thing they don't comprehend everything that they say! Way to hold back from hitting Corbs, I prob would have let it fly! Funny stuff!

Ha, Ha, Ha! I love it! I, on the other hand, am raising a potty mouth. Addie and I have already had the discussion on not saying "da**it" but saying "darn it!" The sad thing about kids is the just say what's on their mind...so you know they don't lie. And sometimes that is depressing!

Thats so funny, my friends son said truck just like your son says frog. We would get him to say it over and over. Yes, we are immature. Kids have a lovely way of making us feel good. You took it like a champ. My daughter just asked me why I have so many cracks on my hips(stretch marks). Thanks for pointing it out.

Collin used to pronounce his "c" and "k" with a "t" sound instead, AND he loved to play with the three little kitties we had, so he was always talking about.... you figure it out! :)

That is hilarious. I will have to tell you two stories sometime. One involves Landon walking in while I was taking care of a ladies time of the month, and another with him taking a shower with me when he was little. I won't put them on the internet.
